Hi I am E. Claudette Freeman and I am honored that you chose to visit my site today. I am a Literary Life Practitioner. Wow - that sounds awfully lofty doesn't it. It simply means that what I do and what I am passionate about has now embraced my life and I have chosen to reciprocate that embrace. Having said that, know that I am a published author, a produced and award-winning/commissioned playwright and a radio professional for more than 24 years. I have written since junior high school and have been wonderfully blessed to have worked with or studied with: Ntozake Shange, the late Bhetty Waldron, Danny Glover and others. What I have gained along the way is valuable experience, first hand writing instruction from those who live it and some sharp critique and editing along the way.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:
Literary Coaching
So E would serve as the coach and motivator to pull those ideas out of your head and spirit and get them into a publishable format. We will assist in assuring the information is comprehensive, cohesive, reader-friendly and in line with your overall vision and mission.
Coaching Author
This option combines basic literary coaching with some elements of ghostwriting. However, we would not be responsible for writing the entire project for you, instead we would primarily coach and write along side or in lieu of you when necessary or applicable. This option is ideal for someone who needs a little more than a coach but not a full ghostwriter.
[*hour/session includes actual coach to client meetings in person/via phone or via IM and follow up work i.e. reviewing work progress, administrating changes and the like. On avg. most clients will fall between 4 to 6 hour/sessions monthly depending on deadlines, time constraints and budget]
Commissioned Work
This option employs us to write a full length play or film script for an individual, corporation or ministry. Much like ghostwriting, we will work with the appointed person to assure the assignment is clear and provide and seek regular project input. Our commissioned work rate is contingent upon several factors including deadlines, project focus and amount of research/related needed and other factors.
Literary Empowerment Coaching and Workshops
This option allows individuals, ministries, organizations and corporations to choose from an array of workshops that are based on writing techniques. One thing I know as a writer and in reality is no matter what I have experienced or witnessed in my life, it has played out in written words. Those words may have been poetic, theatrical, short fiction, mini essays or blog posts - but the being of life has been examined there. I also know as someone who has dealt with no self-esteem, depression, feelings of loneliness and feeling forgotten - that being able to write what was simmering inside me has probably in more ways than one saved my life. I employ those components with what I have learned professionally as an interviewer, talk show producer and program creator and in the educational setting as a student of Christian counseling and psychology. The workshops are not designed to offer counseling, but to open an opportunity to enhance one's life through the personal exploration of our inner self through writing.
Literary Editing This employs the company to provide literary critique of a manuscript providing thoughts to be considered in the overall focus of the book, grammatical editing, story cohesivness, project definition and focus.
