- is an amazing and warm workshop that challenges us to detoxify our mental, intellectual and spiritual selves much the way we do our physical bodies.

 

The session features upfront and real challenges to name your to-be-detoxified objects and examine why they are so strong in your life.

Arise, Write, Release: The Morning Hour

is an emotional and wonderful introduction to using writing/journaling as a way to cope with life's challenges.
 
The session is writing intensive and a charge to the think-life process. Attendees are delicately encouraged to write words of release, words of forgiveness, affirmation and prayer. They are also encouraged to begin forming their own life yearbook.

Zora James Literary Workshop

is a laid back, entertaining version of standard creative writing 101 courses. Not academic, but still educational - the workshop gives practical advice on getting started with the story you've kept hidden.
 
Like the other sessions this workshop is highly-interactive and attendees find themselves pretending to be a reporter one minute and the next minute they are models in an art class. Ideal for summer youth groups, book clubs with budding writers, a new twist to conference itineraries.

Living on Stage
 
uses components of playwriting to encourage taking a difficult but delicate look at hard-life dilemmas and scripting the voices of the players in that dilemma to help bring healing, closure, revelation and peace.
 
Defining characters, establishing sets, delving into plots and reasons.  Participants actually write a theatrical production during the workshop or series of workshops.

Faces of a Little Girl Lost
Women wear an interesting mask. That mask is the looks that adorn their face based on people, things and situations in our lives. That mask often dictates the roads they journey on and can leave one wearing a vision or a purpose that is not their own.
 
This interactive session designed for women of all ages, will have you writing one minute and drawing the next - the design is a map back who you were destined to be.
